Thanks for raising such wonderful puppies!  Quincie is so responsive and really into playing.  We have found that she is also quite vocal..........
I have attached a couple of photos for fun.
Again, Thanks for a great little girl!

My husband was very surprised and likes him more every day. He likes the way the dog stays right by your side.   My mother in law evens likes him and she hardly ever has anything to do with dogs!  I think he brings back memories of her deceased husband because he had German Shepherds when they were young.  We take him on an outing every evening to socialize him and get him used to our various animals - cattle, chickens, pigs.  He hated his first bath, but he'll just have to get used to it.  My husband will take him with him on a daily basis once he gets bigger and more sure footed.  I'll send some pictures when he gets a little bigger.

Thank you so much -- we love him!

Thank you Jennifer.  Maddock is a handful but I already love him.  He has personality plus.

Marvin is growing every day, and is such a feisty puppy. Every one here in my part of Texas is in love with him, I have even recommended a few people to you who are wanting a German Shepherd.
Marvin and Mojo (the pom) are best buddies where you find one you are sure to find the other. They show a weird kind of loyalty to each other. Its ok for Marvin to beat up on Mojo or vice versa, but if another dog tries it they stand up for each other.
Marvin is a quick learner as well he can already sit on command and we are now working on down, and has learned that while horses are fun they aren't the type of play mates that he can rough house with. My older horse taught him that. Marvin was nipping at his hock and the horse picked up that foot and just kind of rolled him not hard enough to hurt him but hard enough to get the lesson across. Poor Marvin had such a disgruntled look on his face, like what did I do, but the lesson has yet to be taught again.
We have joined an AKC dog club here in Midland and will start our first puppy class next month. I'm so excited he is everything I've wanted so far and is showing so much potential. My husband even said that as soon as Marvin is two years of age he would like to get a German shepherd of his own, as Marvin has proven very frequently over the past week that he is my dog and no one else's.
I will send pictures soon. Thank you again.
Sincerely, Kirby, Dec 2007
Jeck (now "Mater", named by our son after the tow truck in the movie Cars - his favorite movie) is doing great and growing like a weed.  We love his temperament.  Just right.

Hi Jennifer, hope that you are doing well.  I wanted to give you an update on Izzy.  She is doing great and growing like a weed.  She is in to everything now.  I have been able to start taking her for walks now and she likes it a lot.
We took her to the park last weekend and she actually wanted to get into the pond, but I wouldn't let her yet.  She is doing very well with her training. She can sitz and platz.  I am also working on the stay command.  She loves to greet me though by jumping and I am trying to get her out of this.  She is so happy to see me everyday when I get home from work. She gives lots of kisses.  She is adorable.  Another trick that I am teaching her is to guess which hand I have a kibble in.  She will touch that hand or either put her paw up on that hand.  Later on, I am thinking about taking her to a "clicker training class."  She is very smart.  I guess that she gets it from her Moma and Daddy (Prissy and ET).  She loves to come in and be with me though.  I have bought her a fleece toy and she loves to kill it!  She loves her bones too. She is content sometimes just to sit and chew her bone and be next to me.  I love her so much.  Today on our walk, she saw a rabbit and that really excited her.  Here are a few pictures.  Feel free to post these on your website.  I noticed that you have pictures of her littermates.  They are all so beautiful.
thank you for bringing her into my life.

take care,
Melissa (March 2007)
Hi Jennifer,

Justin and I  wanted to let you know that Esko has now begun his narcotics K9 training. We are hoping that he will also be able to achieve his training and certification as a "Dual Purpose Drug Dog".  Justin  will be graduating from the academy next month and we felt it necessary to begin Esko's training, this way after Justin finishes his school, he and Esko will be attending seminars together.  It has always been our intention that Esko would be Justin's K9 partner and after evaluations of his temperament and drives he is an excellent candidate. We are so proud of him and Justin is so excited that this excellent breeding produced just exactly what we needed; both at home a gentle and loving with a very stable temperament, yet with the best nose we could ask for in a tracking dog and very good drives that just needed to be brought out. We really can't thank you enough, after all it is your breedings that produced this amazing dog!!

We do want you to know that we still intend to show Esko when possible and we will continue to attend training on the days we are not working even if Esko is not with us. We have still have so much to learn and the group in Whitesboro is always to kind and willing to offer their help that means a great deal to us. We still want Esko shown, but we also want to show that he is not only a beautiful dog, but also a very functional and intelligent dog that contributes daily to the betterment of our society.

We will keep you updated on his progress and hope to see you soon.

Jennifer,

I can’t tell you how much Xena means to all of us.  The trip from your home to College Station was uneventful, she was so well behaved and playful.  Alicia has been accepted to the Vet school at Texas A&M University and will start in mid-August.  She will be moving out of the house with Xena to be in her own place and I can tell you that Mary and I will miss both of them.  I have become so attached to Xena, but her master is definitely Alicia.   Perhaps Mary and I will want to purchase another puppy in the fall, we enjoy her so much and will miss her.  Xena is very intelligent and learns commands very quickly, although at times she has a mind of her own.  She is very loving and expects me to take her out first thing in the morning to get the paper and do a general inspection early in the morning when I arise.

Let me congratulate you on the breeding and socialization of these Shepherd’s.  This is the best Shepherd that I have had since my dog Jake.  Xena is not intimidated by any new sound or people, although she does not like our cats and chases them when she is free to roam, but she always comes back.

Please keep doing what you are doing.  The dogs are unbelievably good.  I am so glad we found your kennel.

Hi Jennifer!

Just a short note to thank you again for Vance.  He is doing great.  He had his check up when we got home and the Vet said that he was one healthy puppy.

In the short time I have had him he is really learning by leaps and bounds.  Vance understands the commands ouch, off, and no.  He is only 9 1/2 weeks!

He goes everywhere with me.  I even put a doggie diaper on him (much to his dismay) and took him to the hospital where I work to let him see some of the older children.  He walked into the hospital like he owned the place.  The sliding glass doors, opening magically, simply got a look up at me from him.  I assured him with a smile and a pat and he heeled all the way into the elevator, never even looked back.  (yes he heels on a leash too)  The elevator did not bother him a bit.

The children were so excited to see the ball of fur!  He still has sharp puppy teeth so I held him around the children the entire time, and he let them love him and gave them wet sloppy kisses.  I think he knew he had to be gentle and this was NOT play time.  I was so proud.  We did not stay long but it was long enough to put some smiles on the childrens faces.

Just wanted to say thank you again,  for this wonderful dog.  I expect great things from the little fellow.

Sincerely yours,

Dear Jennifer

Every day I thank my lucky stars that we have this terrific dog, Tiger.  And I just wanted to let you know, because you were so helpful in our search for the right dog and our efforts to do the right things with him.

Jennifer, I was delighted to see the photo of Tiger & Max on the website.  I wish we could somehow let your website visitors know what a difference this dog has made in that kid's life.  The one thing wrong with our new house is that there are no kids in the neighborhood that Max can play with.  Now he has the best friend ever.  He and Tiger have the most wonderful time together.  As soon as Max gets home from school, they play and do some training.   Tiger starts waiting in the yard where he can see Max coming home every day about 3pm.  Their favorite game is frisbee.   Max makes Tiger sit & platz & stay, and then he throws the frisbee and Tiger brings it back.  Tiger likes it so much that he'll sometimes sit and just gaze at the place where we keep the frisbee, which Max finds hilarious because he knows that means Tiger wants to play.

Tiger's temperament is exactly what I'd hoped for.  Easy going, unflappable.

Well, I just wanted to send another note of thanks.  We think about you often, as we enjoy this wonderful dog.

Lucy
Jerry & Jennifer,

Just wanted to let you know how well Mondo is doing. He is wrecking the deck, turning over the water bowl every chance he gets and collects ALL of the wood out of the creek and brings it up in the yard and throws it around until he is just too tired to pitch it up in the air. Nino, in his old age, just trys to placate him and plays until he just can't stand it and let's the Mondo know that it is time to quit.
I love this dog so much. He doesn't let me out of his sight. He rides in the back of my SUV. I throw a treat back to him every now and then. He already knows where I keep them. MY MISTAKE!!! He is just so great.
He has already learned to sit, stay and walks right beside me. We still have alot of learning to do. Much love to you guys.
Thanks so very much, Jodi

Ilex is fantasic. He is really starting to fill out now. Not fat
but.....solid and big of stature! He is very happy fellow and totally
devoted to the children.....he likes to sleep in front of Max's ( Max
just turned 1 year on 17 August ) crib.

Nova is doing great, and I just bathed her and the other dogs.  She is a star in  our household and loved by our friends.  Health is good and she has her annual vet appointment next week.

Orbit (Jim named him Carson) is doing great - very spunky and very
affectionate - no accidents in the house - just lots of overturned water and
food bowls!  He has a lot of personality!  I think he's found every lost
ball and toy in the whole house.

Thank you for helping me chose the right puppy for me. You would not believe all the wonderful comments I received about Oreilly, call name Reo. The vet fell in love with him, all 48.6 pounds, and that Monday evening I took Reo to the Obedience Club in Kaufman to "socialize" him. The shepherd people were there and wanted to know all about his bloodline, where I got him and could not get over his wonderful temperament. Everyone handled him from head to toe, even the person who had Golden Retrievers. There were two boys in a noisy go-cart riding around the parking lot and it did not phase Reo one bit. I told Glenn when I got home that he was the best looking shepherd there and he told me not to gloat!

Again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every time I see my husband play with the puppy and be so gentle with him, I fall in love with my husband all over again - and we've been married 23 years!!!!!!

Thanks,
Diane
